Thank you to everyone that donated, volunteered, voted for me, placed yard signs, or otherwise supported my 2008 campaign for Colorado Senate District 27.

The campaign for state office was a new, but very rewarding, experience for me. I learned a lot and feel tremendously enriched for having met and spoken with so many of you about your issues and concerns. While I won't be in office to represent you this time, know that I still believe we can make improvements that we desperately need in Colorado.

With nearly 42% of the votes in my favor (over 36 thousand votes!), this marked the first time a Democrat has ever obtained more than 40% of the votes in this district. I couldn't have made that progress without each and every one of you.
