Access to Affordable, Quality Health Care for All

As the parent of a child with a chronic illness, Nathan knows firsthand about many of the inadequacies of our current health care system. There is no dispute that it is tragically broken, and hundreds of billions of dollars are wasted annually across the country. Nathan is committed to bringing forth real change that will have a substantial positive impact on all Colorado families. The crisis of the uninsured is a tragedy, but having them join the ranks of the underinsured does nothing to help the situation, and the cost to all of us will continue to rise. We will not be able to solve this complex problem until we cut out the billions of dollars wasted annually on administration and denial of care and instead use that to provide the care we do need.

Investment in High-Quality Education

A cornerstone to building a successful society is in delivering and maintaining a strong public education system. We need to address shortfalls that have put Colorado at the bottom of the pack nationally in funding of public education. Nathan will be committed to improving early childhood literacy, raising standards, and reducing class sizes while providing schools with the tools and resources necessary to meet the demands of a 21st century workforce.

Economic Growth and Job Creation

A healthy economy is dependent upon job growth. As a small business owner, Nathan understands the challenges faced by Colorado businesses. By encouraging entrepreneurship and reducing the economic burdens to businesses, we can create a environment that will attract new businesses and generate new opportunities and greater earning potential for Coloradans.
